The Big Feastival 2018

Great sets, crowds moving as one and lifetime memories are what we think of when we talk about festivals. 

However, The Big Feastival added a new ingredient to this already sumptuous mix whenever it was introduced back in 2011 by Taste Festivals and renowned chef Jamie Oliver. 

Upscaling the festival food offering but maintaining that crucial music and entertainment element, The Big Feastival challenged the perception of the humble British music festival. Checking off all the boxes for foodies, music connoisseurs and kids big and small, The Big Feastival makes for an exciting family summer event.

With some of Britain’s finest chefs and food vendors in attendance, The Big Feastival needs to be kitted out with the best event catering equipment. Lowe’s events team took to Alex James’s farm for another successful year at the festival.

Working hand–in–hand with vendors and event organisers, after working at various festivals around the world for many years, the team have become well–attuned to delivering and maintaining a successful installation for a busy weekend.

Project Manager Stefano Tinelli works at the event each year heading up the Lowe events team and delivering a comprehensive service.

We caught up with Stefano the day before the Big Feastival began to see how installation was going –

“Big Feastival is a great place to work, located in the Cotswolds, surrounded by friendly people ready to help you out in every phase of the operations. The organisers are extremely helpful as well as the exhibitors. Even before the festival started you could feel the great vibes of a magic atmosphere building up! It’s great to be a part of it all for another year.

The festival itself is fantastic – an exciting blend of tasty street food, fun fair amusements and top–quality music! Surely an unmissable event in my agenda!”

 As festival season comes to an end, the Lowe team are delighted to be ending it on a high.
